June 27th, 2017 - Field mobilization for summer drilling program.

July 5th, 2017 - Drilling starts for a total of 7,500 metres of drilling with pierce points into CH-6 down to 500 metres. This is both geotechnical (1,000 metres) and inferred expansion work. 2 drilling rigs being utilized.

July - August 2017 - Environmental baseline studies continue and studies related to the transportation corridor (future all weather road)

August 1st, 2017 - Introduction of 3rd operating drill rig at site for summer program.

August  30th, 2017 - NIRB has given the Government of Nunavut a chance to respond to comments by this date before it submits final recommendation to federal minster. This is related to the construction of the Iqaluit - small craft harbour.

August - September 2017 - Core sent to SRC for microdiamond results and results released when ready.

July - September, 2017 - Collection of geotechnical baseline data (2 week study) by Avisian for deep water port work for the Nunavut Government.

September/October, 2017 - Drilling program wraps up and caustics submitted to the SRC (Saskatchewan Research Council) for analysis.

September 18th to 22nd, 2017 - 11th Annual Kimberlite Conference in Botswana.

September 21st, 2017 - Oral Session by Herman Grutter -  Tracing kimberlitic indicators to their kimberlite source at Chidliak, Nunavut, Canada, re-visited: the unexpected

Summer/Fall 2017 (if needed) - Collection of environmental baseline data by Avisian for deep water port work for the Nunavut Government.


November - December 2017 - Updated technical report published with updated TFFE/inferred on CH-6.

Dec 2017 - Final design and permitting for Iqaluit port

January/March 2018 - Updated PEA (preliminary economic assessment) published with additional underground portion of CH-6 added. This should also use an updated valuation model with a current price book. 

February/March 2018 - Construction contract awarded for development of Iqaluit port. 

early March 2018 - PDAC Booth #TBD

end of March 2018 - Annual General Meeting 

February - May 2018 - Establish winter camp, ice strip in preparation for supporting LDD RC Drilling, Trench bulk sample and regular core drilling.

Trench details - CH-6 - 30 metres long x 15 metres wide. Depth 3 to 8 metres.
Trench will produce approximately 500 tonnes of kimberlite and will be started around March 1st, 2018.

June 2018 - Iqaluit Deep Water port construction starts

June 2018- Bulk samples to the SRC for testing.

June to August 2018 - Summer field program. 

Fall 2018  - Results of winter program. 

2018 to 2019 - PFS/FS work plus continual environmental studies and necessary permitting work.

2019 - new Iqaluit small craft harbour available for use.

Late 2019First construction phase for Chidliak.

October 2020 - Iqaluit deep water port construction finished.

2020 - 2021 - Estimated mine production start date - First production diamonds pulled out of Chidliak.
