CH-50 Kimberlite
*Information in this current blog is based on information obtained up to mid 2018 and should be considered legacy at this time and should no longer be relied upon.*
This kimberlite was found by surface prospecting and was the last kimberlite announced for the summer 2010 field program.
Discovery news release -- Sept 16 2010
Excerpt:
"On September 12, the CH-50 kimberlite was discovered when abundant
magmatic kimberlite float was found along a north-south trending
magnetic high linear feature in an area of anomalous kimberlite
indicator mineral ("KIM") samples."
This deemed low priority to do any tests on.
Looks like a possible dyke like structure, but 1 or 2 core drill holes to confirm would be needed.
This will get testing in a production scenario and not at this time.
